Reinforcement ranges from welded wire mesh for standard utility pads to rebar for heavy-duty applications. We also coordinate with your HVAC contractor, electrician, or other trades when conduit, sleeves, or anchor bolts need to be cast into the concrete during the pour. Proper base preparation is critical on Long Island, where sandy coastal soils and organic topsoil can settle significantly if not removed and replaced with compacted aggregate.
