We stand behind every project. Your investment is protected.
At Brothers Paving & Masonry, we believe in the quality of our work. Every project we complete comes with our 5-Year Craftsmanship Warranty — a promise that if anything goes wrong due to our installation, we'll make it right at no cost to you.
This warranty covers labor and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of project completion. Material warranties provided by manufacturers (such as Cambridge, Nicolock, and other premium brands) are separate and in addition to our craftsmanship guarantee.
Workmanship defects covered under our 5-year warranty
If installed pavers settle, shift, or become uneven due to improper base preparation or installation, we will repair the affected area at no cost.
Polymeric sand joint failure caused by improper application during installation is covered. We will re-sand and re-compact affected joints.
If edge restraints loosen, shift, or fail due to installation defects, we will reinstall or replace them to restore proper containment.
If improper grading or pitch during installation causes water pooling on paved surfaces, we will correct the grade to restore proper drainage flow.
Masonry walls, stoops, steps, and structures that crack, lean, or separate due to improper construction methods or inadequate footings are covered.
Retaining walls that lean, bow, shift, or collapse due to improper base preparation, inadequate geogrid reinforcement, or construction defects are covered.
Conditions and circumstances outside the scope of our warranty
Natural aging, surface wear from regular foot or vehicle traffic, and gradual color fading from UV exposure over time.
Hairline cracks, spider cracks, and surface crazing in concrete are a natural and inherent characteristic of concrete as a material. These naturally occurring cosmetic imperfections are not structural defects and are not covered under this warranty.
Minor surface cracking, thermal cracking, and hairline cracks in asphalt are a natural result of temperature fluctuations, freeze-thaw cycles, and the curing process inherent to asphalt as a material. These naturally occurring conditions are not installation defects and are not covered under this warranty.
Damage caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe storms, flooding, earthquakes, lightning, falling trees, ice storms, and other natural disasters.
Damage resulting from use beyond the designed purpose of the installation, including excessive weight loads, chemical spills, salt or de-icer damage, and impact damage from vehicles, equipment, or heavy objects.
Any damage or defects resulting from work performed by others after the original installation, including alterations, additions, utility work, landscaping changes, or excavation adjacent to the installed area.
Movement, settling, or shifting caused by pre-existing subsoil conditions that were not reasonably discoverable at the time of installation, including underground springs, sinkholes, or soil contamination.
Damage or deterioration resulting from failure to perform reasonable maintenance, including neglecting recommended sealcoating for asphalt, allowing vegetation to grow through joints, or failing to address drainage issues caused by changes to the surrounding landscape.

This warranty is provided by Brothers Paving & Masonry and covers workmanship and labor for a period of five (5) years from the documented date of project completion. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original property owner who contracted the work.
Concrete Disclaimer: Concrete is a natural product that may develop hairline cracks, spider cracks, surface crazing, and minor color variations as part of its normal curing and aging process. These naturally occurring characteristics are inherent to concrete as a material and do not constitute a defect in workmanship. Such conditions are not covered under this warranty.
Asphalt Disclaimer: Asphalt is a flexible pavement that may develop minor surface cracking, thermal cracking, and hairline cracks as a result of temperature fluctuations, freeze-thaw cycles, oxidation, and the natural curing process. These conditions are inherent characteristics of asphalt as a material and do not constitute a defect in workmanship. Such conditions are not covered under this warranty. Regular sealcoating every 2–3 years is recommended to extend asphalt life.
Manufacturer Warranties: Materials used in your project may carry separate manufacturer warranties (e.g., Cambridge Armortec lifetime limited paver warranty, Nicolock paver warranty). These warranties are administered directly by the manufacturer and are independent of our craftsmanship warranty. We are happy to assist you with any manufacturer warranty claims.
Limitation of Liability: Our warranty obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective workmanship. Brothers Paving & Masonry shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from or related to the warranted work. This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by New York State law.
